I believe that design is a tool for creating a better understanding between people and products, thinking about our future world, and creating unobtrusive yet immersive experiences. I love designing around constraints, pushing my abilities to their outer edges and challenging my creativity.

As an avid believer in the power of human-centered design, I am fascinated by user interaction and people-based problem solving. I approach design empathetically and focus on understanding the latent needs and emotions of the people who I am designing for, aiming to create clear, impactful solutions to enrich their lives.

MY PROCESS

Every project is going to be different, but this five step approach is the usual structure that I follow as best practices. In my approach to the creative process, I place a strong emphasis on being human-centered, ensuring that the end result aligns seamlessly with the client's vision and objectives.

My mindset involves a deep understanding of the client's goals, translating them into visually compelling concepts, and fostering collaborative feedback loops. This ensures that the design goes beyond mere aesthetics, establishing a meaningful connection with the intended audience and delivering visually impactful solutions with purpose.

RESEARCH

Understand the client’s goals and objectives of the project. Along with developing mood boards based off of the client’s vision.

CONCEPT

Use the research and develop 2-3 rough concepts. Then review with the client to finalize a direction.

DESIGN

The designing and production phase, where all the assets are developed or prototyped to be reviewed by the client.

REVIEW

Back and forth feedback with the client regarding design or copy changes before the finalization of the assets. Up to 2-3 versions of proofs.

FINALIZE

Once the project is approved, all the assets will be finalized, files packaged up and sent off to the client. Continuing support is always an option.

BRANDING &
IDENTITY SYSTEM

Building a brand visually always starts with a logo. When collaborating together we’ll hone in on a concept that is both eye-catching and represents the brand’s value and purpose. I can provide services from logo design, to a full identity system, which entails typography styles, color palettes, brand elements, photography, etc. Along with developing application rules to how the identity would live in a physical and digital environment.

From vector to raster illustration styles, I have the skills to produce a series of illustrations that have a very stand out and permanent use, such as book illustrations, packaging design, and poster art.
